The onset of the Trust

They have started publishing Vedanta books one by one, with the support and encouragement of Sri Vishnu Prasad Garu and Smt. Aruna Madam. The books, being in simple, easy to understand style became popular in no time. Then their Satsang members became Maharaja Poshakas of the Brahma Yajnam. When the members at large started giving them Guru Dakshina, they wanted to utilise it for Brahma Yajnam. To give it a crystal clear view, they promoted a Trust to deposit every pie donated to them and registered it. It was named Arsha Vidya Tarangini Trust. Even since then, the donations were deposited in the Trust.

Board of Trustees of the Arsha Vidya Tarangini Trust are as under:

1. To conduct online classes on Advaita Vedanta - free of cost
2. To publish books on Advaita Vedanta under the series of ‘Arsha Vidya Tarangini’ and to distribute them free of cost to Satsang members, Ashrams, Swamis, Swaminis
3. To arrange speeches of eminent Swamijis and Swaminis and to donate to them
4. To celebrate Guru Purnima, Gita Jayanti, Sankara Jayanti and the like periodically
5. To organise Vedanta Retreat at periodic intervals to Satsang members
6. To maintain Arsha Vidya Tarangini Web portal to promote Vedantic studies and relevant material in digital form to spread Brahma Vidya far and wide
7. To support Veda Pathasalas and Vedic students

Our shastras imbibe the spirit of dana in our culture. Dana is a very good virtue and it is greater if it is given for Brahma Yajnam. All the Satsang members have donated to the Brahma Yajnam as much as they could and enabled the Gurus to publish many Granthas under the banner of Arsha Vidya Tarangini. They are grateful to all donors.

All the donations to the trust are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80G(5)(iv) of the IT Act 1961, vide Provisional Approval number: AAITA3463DF20231, which is valid for 3 financial years starting from Assessment Year (AY) 2024 -2025 to AY 2026-27. Our PAN Number: AAITA3463D.
